Who we are

The Euro Padel Awards, contactable at info@europadelawards.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

When you submit a nomination: your name, email address and relationship to the nominee; the nominee's name, country, organisation, and optionally their email address, website and a photograph; your supporting statement; and the consents you gave. We also record the IP address the submission came from and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.

When you contact us: your name, email address and message.

When you browse: nothing beyond standard server logs, unless you accept analytics cookies. No analytics script is loaded at all until you do.

Why we collect it

To administer the awards: checking eligibility, removing duplicates, contacting nominees and nominators, running the judging process, and publicising results. The IP address is kept solely to detect and limit automated abuse of the nomination form.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to sponsors or third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Nomination records are kept for the awards cycle they relate to and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, and are then deleted or anonymised. Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@europadelawards.com and we will respond within one month. If you were nominated by someone else and would rather not be, tell us and we will withdraw the nomination.
